Hi, my name is Asha and I am the founder and creative mind behind Triumph After Events. 

Abbreviated as TAE ~ also a double entendre meaning The Asha Experience. This was developed through my reputation of planning events; many have followed the coined description of my gatherings since they are an experience more than a party or resource fair. It is always my goal to create a fun atmosphere full of learning, connections and memorable moments that continue to resurface years later. In more recent years, I created a Project Series that follows specific colors and related them to topics that are under spoken in my target communities. Topics include Money (Project Green), Health & Wellness (Project Yellow), and Women Professionals (Project Red). 

I was approached with the charge of forming a not-for-profit entity based on the work that I've been doing FOR YEARS, including my own Scholarship Program "The Brand Scholarship". I thought deeply. Real deep and decided that I would take my business to the next step, but first, I had to uncover another layer. This has resulted in Triumph After...

The Why:

Overview:
Five Focus Areas
1. Cancer Survivors
2. Prostitution/Sex Trafficking Relief
3. Post-Incarceration
4. Homelessness
5. Domestic Abuse 

In these five focus areas, I will host events with a purpose. There will be resources, motivational speakers, and not to mention fun! A good, enjoyable time where if even for that moment, whatever situation has been heavy or a person has been battling, we get to breathe... in the moment.

One of the primary objectives of a non-profit business is the ability to gain support in a variety of ways, one being fundraising. Any funds raised will go 100% to the formation and first fruits of those who will be reached by TAE. Historically, I have directly funded every single penny of every event and scholarship I have created. And with the loving support of my faithful partners, I have received contributions to allow me to reach more people. This time, I am asking the village and the village beyond the village to support this path. In this 501 (c)(3) world, this is the way. And as much as I just want to write a personal check to cover any costs, I am learning that this is part of the journey. 

I am beyond thankful and grateful of every step of my journey to this point and I see absolutely no limit to the levels I will reach... WE will reach together to make a difference where the impact is not only seen but felt in the hearts of those we reach and those who give.
